The Speaker’s Call Questline – Alliance

The Speaker’s Call Alliance questline allows you to max out your Artifact Weapon before it loses all of it’s power in Battle for Azeroth. This video is my first attempt at streaming and covers the walk-through from the Alliance side using my Night Elf Death Knight Alt. Apologies for the soundtrack drop-outs, this was fixed for my 2nd video, which covers the same walk-through from the Horde perspective.

This walk-through is designed to allow you to empower your artifact weapons quickly, skipping the optional quests. The first quest in this chain should pop up automatically when you login at level 110. If it does not, try and relog, which usually fixes the issue.

Part 1 – Stormwind Quests

Summons to Stormwind

Go to Stormwind and meet Master Mathias Shaw at Lion’s Rest (Location 39, 62.6).

1. From Dalaran the quickest way to meet up with Mathias is usually via the portal to Stormwind in Greyfang Enclave.
2. On arrival at the Wizard’s Sanctum make your way through the portal in front of you and go down the ramp.
3. Fly across Stormwind to the Lion’s Rest monument.
4. Mathias is just to the right of the stairs of the monument.
5. Speak to Mathias to complete the quest and accept his next quest, Gifts of the Fallen.

Gifts of the Fallen

Speak with Mathias Shaw in Stormwind.

1. Accept the quest.
2. Speak to Mathias. “Tell me what happened at Lion’s Rest”.
3. Watch the Cinematic Video.
4. Complete the quest and accept his next quest, Witness to the Wound.

Part 2 – Silithus Quests

Witness to the Wound

Travel to Silithus and meet with the SI:7 commander (Nolan Speed) in Silithus.

1. The recommended route is by using the portal to Uldum in the Eastern Earthshrine at Stormwind.
2. On arrival at Ramkahen, fly to Silithus. The Sword in Silithus is visible towering into the sky.
3. Head for the sword and then fly past it to arrive at Staghelm Point.
4. Nolan Speed is located in the smaller hut to the right at the top of the camp.
5. Complete the quest and accept his next quest, Free Samples.

Free Samples

1. Accept the quest to collect 8 Mysterious Ore samples.
2. Ignore Kelsey Steelspark
3. Fly towards the dig site at Silithus: The Wound (by the Sword in Silithus).
4. Kill Bilgewater Prospectors and Bilgewater Laborers in the marked area on your map until you have collected the required 8 Ore samples.
5. Go to Khargus Stonemantle at Staghelm Point. He is in a small hut on the right hand side of the camp. Complete the quest.

Quests to Skip at this point.

• (Skip this optional quest) Desert Research – Speak to Nolan Speed.
• (Skip this optional quest) It’s a Sabotage – Speak to Kelsey Steelspark. Plant 10 Dynamite Bundles on the Shredders.
• (Skip this optional quest) The Source of Power – Speak to Tammy Tinkspinner. Collect 10 Silithid brains.
• (Skip this optional quest) Larvae By The Dozen – Speak to Tammy Tinkspinner. Collect 12 Silithid broodlings.

The Twilight Survivor

Retrieve Michiel Voidstrider’s head

1. Accept the quest to kill Michiel Voidstrider and collect his head.
2. Fly past the Sword in Silithus to the Twilight Outpost.
3. Michiel is is the larger hut to the right hand side of the outpost.
4. Kill Michiel and loot his head.
5. Return to Nolan Speed and complete the quest.
6. Accept his next quest, A Recent Arrival.

Quests to Skip at this point.

• (Skip this optional quest) A Wee Bit O’ Cloth – Speak to the Dwarf Angus Stormbrew at the Twilight Outhouse toilet. Collect 8 scraps of Twilight Silk.

A Recent Arrival

Speak to Archmage Khadgar.

1. Accept the quest to speak with Archmage Khadgar.
2. Khadgar is just outside the hut where Nolan Speed is located.
3. Speak to Khadgar and complete the quest.
4. Accept his next quest The Speaker’s Perspective.

The Speaker’s Perspective

Deliver Khadgar’s letter to Magni Bronzebeard in Silithus.

1. Accept the quest and fly to Magni Bronzebeard in Silithus.
2. Fly around the far side of the The Sword in Silithus.
3. Magni is located on a rocky rise by the base of the giant Sword.
4. Speak to Magni “Khadgar asked me to deliver this letter.” to deliver Khadgar’s letter and complete the objective.
5. Speak to Magni again to complete the quest.
6. Accept his next quest, The Blood of Azeroth.

The Blood of Azeroth

Deliver Magni Bronzebeard’s message.

1. Accept the quest and fly back round the Sword to Nolan Speed at Staghelm Point.
2. Speak to Nolan to complete the quest.
3. Accept his next quest, The Speaker’s Call

The Speaker’s Call

1. Accept the quest to speak to Laurette Royston.
2. Laurette is the Flight Specialist in Staghelm Point located at what looks like a Gryphon flight point.
3. Speak to Laurette, “I need to meet with Magni Bronzebeard at once.”
4. You will begin a short flight to Magni Bronzebeard aboard a skyship.
5. Speak to Magni to complete the quest.
6. Accept his next quest, The Power in Our Hands

The Power in Our Hands

Go to the Sword in Silithus and draw its power into your artifact.

1. This is the final quest in the chain to empower your Artifact Weapon.
2. Speak to Magni, “I am ready. Let us begin the ritual.”
3. Watch the Cinematic Video.
4. You will gain the achievement – Crucible’s Promise
5. Speak to Magni to complete quest.
6. Your Artifact Weapon will now automatically power up with infinite Artifact Power.

Remember! – The clock is ticking, you only have until the Battle for Azeroth pre-expansion patch (aka pre-patch) arrives on 17th/18th* July 2018. Once the pre-patch goes live, Artifact weapon traits will no longer function —but there’s a new power waiting to be gained, if Magni has anything to say about it. (*Depends on Region).
