WoW BFA Bugs: Fixed Darkshore World Quests

World of Warcraft – Battle for Azeroth Pre-launch: Darkshore World Quests Bug – Solution

The War of the Thorns quest-line Part 1 has been released, and some people, like myself, have been experiencing an issue with the new World Quests in Darkshore not displaying on the world map. You can wander in to the world quest zone and the narrative plays but there are no quests shown on your map.

I tried various things to try and get it working, but even disabling all my addons, relogging, rebooting, just turning off World Quest Tracker addon, visting Dalaran and going back to Darkshore again, nothing would work! This bug is being caused by a problem with the tracker on the map that is accessed from the magnifier icon on the top right of the map.

If you view the Darkshore Map you will only see 3 options on the magnifier icon:

You need to view the Broken Shore Map in order to view the extended tracker options on magnifier icon.

As you can see, the Broken Shore Map has many more options. The World Quest Rewards need to be enabled (ticked) in order for the World Quests to show up on your Darkshore Map.
